Description
This slaughter box is specially designed and constructed to meet stringent ritual requirements for Halal slaughter and animal welfare requirements. In addition to fulfilling practicality and functionality requirements, whilst providing a safe environment for the operator and animal.
Applications
When in use the animals are loaded individually through the back enter gate. The purpose of the box is to slaughter camels in the most functional way by creating a design which cradles the neck and head so they are not moving around or swinging their head (which can cause injury to the animal and operator). The benefit of pneumatic control is that camel in the box can be easily controlled using controls on the operator console without the operator needing to physically handle the animal themselves. This means that the neck extenders, neck cradle and under belly support can all be engage by the operator whilst maintaining a safe distance from the animal.
Panel configurations
The panels of the box are fully sheeted to increase operator safety as animal is safely contained in a with sheeted panels, which measure above the height of the animals back. This lessens the possibility of the animal swinging a leg through or over the top of unsheeted rails.
