Charlton Feedlot

Teys Australia - Charlton Feedlot in Victoria is one of the first feedlots established in Australia, but this does not mean its’ facilities are dated.  In fact, it uses the latest technology in livestock management systems and can be considered one of the most modern feedlots in Australia. Planning commenced in late 2017 for an upgrade to the hospital facility, to include the first tipping restrainer built by Thompson Longhorn.  (See our “Products” section for more details.)  The design also included a pneumatic crowd, vee race, 6-way pneumatic auto-draft, all contained within a shed.  The yards coming off the draft facility provide plenty of options for cattle to be segregated into smaller mobs as required after treatment.
